Responsibilities: Merrell possesses more than a decade’s worth of sales and account management experience. She is primarily responsible for new business development in the Los Angeles office. Merrell works creatively and cohesively alongside her clients to help them navigate employee benefits complexities. She is an active member of her cleint’s HR team throughout the year, not just during renewal and open enrollment. Merrell consults with prospects and clients on strategic planning, management, open enrollment, and communications needs. She looks beyond the next renewal to ensure each client's benefits offerings are advantageous to the client and its employees year over year. Merrell leads the LA team's carrier relationship efforts by utilizing her network of resources to bring innovative solutions to the clients.
