Responsibilities: Nooshin is responsible for new business development and the overall strategic planning and leadership of client accounts. In addition, she is an executive at Burnham, where she plays a key role in the overall success of the firm and client strategies. Nooshin is effective in negotiating the client’s bottom line. One of her biggest passions is to dig in and analyze a client’s claims utilization and figure out the best way to stabilize claims and lower overall cost trends. She also spends a considerable amount of time looking at renewal history and evaluating the underwriting from carriers to ensure Burnham is getting the best renewals and long term partnerships for our clients. Nooshin leads the Burnham sales team meetings and consistently helps to implement creative cost containment strategies.

Notable Quality/Achievement in the Benefits Industry/Designations: Nooshin came to Burnham from the carrier side, where she specialized in self-funded medical, dental, vision and short term disability. This experience allows her to be an expert in creative financial strategies and negotiate competitive rates with carriers, resulting in significant savings for clients. When the Affordable Care Act went into effect, Nooshin learned the law inside and out and helped develop simplified tools for Burnham clients to strategically navigate through the complexities of the ACA regulations.
