She will work beside vice president, Bill Thomas in the trucking, transportation and logistics sector. An industry veteran, McVeigh has more than 30 years of experience managing client relationships and developing strategic solutions.

The trucking industry has historically experienced challenges related to securing affordable coverage. In 2014, Burnham announced its consultative partnership with the California Trucking Association Health and Welfare Trust (CTAHWT), an independent healthcare benefits buying pool sponsored by the CTA. Within this role, Burnham has focused on supporting the trust’s selling agencies and has helped the trust’s leadership to better manage the program. Burnham continues to work with the CTA and other trucking and logistics leadership entities to craft additional innovative benefits solutions for their constituency, satisfying the benefits needs of individual companies. McVeigh has worked closely with key producing agents and their clients to handle both marketing to and retention of new business and data management. Before joining Burnham, she served as a senior analyst at Benefits Exchange Alliance, and prior to that she was a VP at The LBL Group, Insurance & Financial Planning. McVeigh has been licensed through the California Department of Insurance since 1984 and has been certified through the California Partnership for Long-Term Care since 1994.
