Burnham Welcomes New Team with Industry Veterans to Open Fresno Office

IRVINE, CA (June 27, 2019) - We are thrilled to announce that Burnham Benefits has opened a new office located in Fresno, Calif. The Fresno footprint will allow Burnham, one of the largest independent employee benefits consulting firms in the state, to round out its California presence with expansion into the Central Valley—attracting clients looking for more robust resources delivered by a firm invested in productive and creative solutions. With its California roots and established reputation of excellence in benefits and consulting, privately-held Burnham is well-poised to introduce its model of personalized solutions and high-quality service to a new region of the state. Industry veterans LeRoy Tucker and Alan Thaxter are spearheading the development and growth of the Burnham Fresno office.

LeRoy understands the value of relationships and reputation that identify the Central Valley. He recognizes the growth of the region and maintains his commitment to deliver holistic strategies that benefit clients and their employees. LeRoy felt an instant connection to Burnham, where a team approach complements the organization with a vast array of knowledge from diverse team members and extensive in-house services; underwriting, actuarial, ERISA attorney, communications, and technology resources.

Recognizing a gap in the territory for new ideas and new strategies, Alan sees Burnham making a difference in consulting with clients he’s known for years. He has a passion for speaking to the business owner and the direct team managing benefits to help make decisions based on competencies, research, abilities, and quality service. Alan remains dedicated to providing the best for both the generations of family-run firms as well as those newer transplants to the market.

Also joining the Fresno office team are Senior Account Managers Ashley Ouimet and Jennifer Vincent, both adept professionals who bring passion and skill to the office. Ashley had worked with Burnham personnel while at a different firm and had experienced the hands-on, and more professional approach referred to as the Burnham Difference. And, Jennifer notes that doing business in the Central Valley requires such an approach, that business needs to be done with a handshake, not a call center. This dynamic Fresno team is excited to differentiate the services Burnham provides to the organizations across the Central San Joaquin Valley and looks forward to collaborating throughout the Burnham team to build better, productive and more creative solutions to help employers solve issues and enhance their success.
