Welcome, Pilar Ruiz

Our season of growth continues at Burnham Benefits – join us in extending a warm welcome to Burnham’s newest Advisor, Pilar Ruiz.

Pilar Ruiz brings two decades of transformative benefits experience to Burnham, advising a variety of national, multilocation firms as well as regional groups. Her leadership and expertise on both the broker and carrier fronts will drive Burnham’s continued growth and expansion.

Throughout her tenure, Pilar advanced sales, service, renewal, and account management and was integral in creating proprietary service models for large, complex accounts. While a brief glance into her resume is enough to turn heads, Pilar’s approach, attitude, and perspective on industry leadership make her a vital force as Burnham broadens its national footprint in partnership with Baldwin Risk Partners:

Pilar’s new role

In her role as Advisor, Pilar will support Burnham’s mid-to-large group sectors in our Irvine office, further developing relationships with clients and colleagues by providing them with the strategies, tools, and peace of mind needed to succeed.

“We need an advisor to support our clients through our growth, and we understand this role requires a more agile, more inventive, and more dedicated individual than the norm,” notes Regional President, Kristen Allison, “Clients naturally gravitate to Pilar for leadership on accounts – she understands the industry holistically, and she’s extremely resourceful at bringing the right tools to the table. Beyond her professional life, Pilar spends her time traveling, noting her love of different cultures, people, cuisines and music: “I think it’s beautiful that the world is so different. And I truly believe we grow in every capacity when we travel and see the world. It helps to inform why we do what we do and whom we do it for.”
