Welcome, Damaris Higuera!
Please join us in welcoming Damaris Higuera as an Account Executive in Burnham’s Los Angeles office. Damaris will work in a hybrid position in both leadership on accounts and supporting consultants on a large dynamic book of business. A generalist by nature, Damaris has significant expertise across several industry specializations and funding options. Her core responsibilities are to ensure her clients have the proper guidance and resources needed to maintain a competitive benefits program—a one-stop-shop.
Damaris joins us from Willis Towers Watson’s Los Angeles office, where she served as a senior client manager/lead associate for the past seven years and prior to that at Sullivan Curtis, Monroe. She has over 20 years of experience.
Damaris possesses the knowledge to navigate between all layers of the organization. As a result, she establishes trust with her clients organically and seamlessly—no matter how big the challenge or small the request. Damaris was drawn to Burnham’s industry reputation and culture of “happy employees,” the high-touch consulting and its correlation to client retention, and the subsequent positive employee experience. She believes this reflects the quality and tools with which Burnham services its accounts.
“Helping our clients become successful and making their jobs less stressful than they already are” is a passion for Damaris. “I take the stress of the benefits portion away and become their go-to person.” Damaris looks forward to serving her clients outside of the hourly billable model and providing customized all-inclusive services that don’t involve upselling.
